PROCEEDINGS AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Please take comments by the reviewers carefully into account when preparing your camera-ready paper for the proceedings. The final full paper is due on June 5th, 2020. This is a firm deadline for the production of the proceedings.

There are 4 steps you have to follow for the production of the proceedings after making final changes to your paper:

1. Add the copyright clearance notice
2. Validate the paper through PDFeXpress
3. Upload the validated version to EasyChair
4. Sign the copyright form

Details on each of these steps can be found below.

1: Copyright Clearance Notice

The appropriate notice is to appear on the bottom of the first page of each paper according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceeding. The copyright notice is as follows:

• For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is:
  U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
• For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:
  978-1-7281-4533-4/20/$31.00 @2020 Crown
• For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is:
  978-1-7281-4533-4/20/$31.00 @2020 European Union
• For all other papers the copyright notice is:
  978-1-7281-4533-4/20/$31.00 @2020 IEEE

If you are using LaTeX, you can include the following snippet directly in your main .tex file (just before the \maketitle command):

• \IEEEpubid{\begin{minipage}{\textwidth}\ \\[12pt] 978-1-7281-4533-4/20/\$31.00 \copyright 2020 IEEE \end{minipage}}

(Please amend appropriately for US, EU or Crown, if that's your case).

If the notice is not showing up, try:

• Adding "\IEEEoverridecommandlockouts" before the copyright notice
• Removing the "plain" pagestyle

Please add the copyright clearance notice to the bottom left corner of your first page.

2: Validate the paper through PDF eXpress

Your finished paper will then need to be validated by the IEEE PDF eXpress service.

To do this, please do the following steps if you are a first time user:

0. Go to https://www.pdf-express.org/
1. Select the New Users - Click Here link
2. Enter the following
   • 47356XP for the Conference ID
   • your email address
   • a password
3. Continue to enter information as prompted

If you have used PDF eXpress or PDF eXpress Plus before, please do the following steps:

0. Go to https://www.pdf-express.org/
1. Enter the following
   • 47356XP for the Conference ID
   • your email address
   • a password
2. Continue to enter information as prompted
3. Verify that your contact information is still valid

3: Upload the validated version to EasyChair

Once your paper has passed the PDF check, please upload the resulting file in EasyChair using your "Proceedings Author" role for CoG 2020.

4: Sign the copyright form

You will be able to sign a copyright agreement with IEEE on EasyChair using the main menu tab "Proceedings". One of these forms needs to be filled out for each paper.
